Finally, after what felt like eternity – though it was „only” three months really –, the living embodiment of gracefulness, Mata Hari has returned! This fact was enough for me to download this movie immidiately, and I didn’t regret it, but still… I felt it could be little better this time.
But first, the good things! I loved the storyline, it was funny and new, which clearly showed that the director didn’t ran out of fresh ideas at all. The music was also cool, suspenseful.
The actors all made a good job, the guys finally had a chance to show their humoruous side and the girls were gorgeous, of course. The outfits were carefully selected, and really sexy – those miniskirts and high-heeled shoes/boots are a killer combination, I hope we’ll see them again in the future!)
I felt that the action was a little underwhelming this time, however. Namely, it almost entirely contained punches (those viewers who prefer this attack mode will be very pleased), the ladies delivered only a minimal number of kicks. I felt it was a missed opportunity, since the outfits were so sexy and we already know that Mata Hari can pull off amazing moves with her legs… It’s quite frustrating, since the kicking scenes in the movie are ALL beautiful (especially that amazing little kick from Mata Hari – featured in the trailer and on the 15th picture – which easily found my way to my Top 10 list), but they’re few and far between. Well, perhaps next time…
Still, I recommend this movie to everyone, since it’s always great to meet a new Kandygirl (and evey film with Mata Hari Hari has a „Must Buy” stamp on it, of course).
