I didn’t think it’d be so hard to write my opinion abouth this movie, because it contains many high points, and still… I have a little mixed feelings about it.
First, the good things:
1. BAMBI. She is quickly becoming one of my favorite Kandygirls (after Mata Hari and AJ). She’s elegant, confident, graceful, and there’s something else about her – some undescriable magic, some unique, exciting quality. (Perhaps I don’t make sense, but I cannot put it any other way…)
2. OUTFITS. I didn’t mentioned before, but the girl (or guy) who selects the Kandygirls’ oufit is a genius. Bambi’s outfit is one of the best, and HK’s dress is a sight, too. In fact, watching the girls in these outfits – with or without fights – is a present in itself.
3. HiKix’s entrance. Truly awesomely directed. That’s the way to introduce a Kandygirl in a movie – just a few seconds, but this little scene instantly shows her character, both beauty and attitude.
The action scenes in the first half are good, too (though some more kicks and some stomps would be even better), but I had some problems with the second half of the movie. Namely, the part, where Hi-Kix directs Bambi’s attacks.
IMHO, the best thing in the KAK action scenes that they are so unpredictable – we know that the girls will win, of course, but we don’t know what move they will use in the next moment, and the fights are always dynamic, with a wide assortment of kicks and punches. Making Kix call out every move in advance ruined this exciting, adrenaline-bossting feeling and made this part a little repetitive and tiresome (especially, since we have to watch Bambi execute each move twice).
Also, I have problems with Kix giving direct orders to Bambi – while it’s evident from the movies the HiKix is sort of a leader figure in the team, but I think this shouldn’t extend to the choosing of fight moves. Every Kandygisl is confident, independent, and – in a good way – arrogant enough to handle her opponents herself, in her own way, without anyone’s approval. When they cooperate in a fight, I think it’s better if it introduced in a more playful way and showing them as equals (f.e. Silence of Kick Ass or Sleeping Kick Ass).
But enough of my rantings, this movie is still great and an unmissable one! There’s just always a little room to improve…

Can we make more movies of Kix trample the bad guys with boots and trample their throat to have them spit out information and then crush their throats to finish them off? our movies lack of this sexy trample and torture element.
