I always think – when I watch her movies – that Sydney is like a female James Bond: stylish, elegant, charming, with a no-nonsense, cool attitude. Perhaps not as playful like the other girls, but exactly that attitude is what make her scenes unique. (And it’s hard not to love her scornful, satisfied laugh as she lands one hit after another on her helpless foes…) She’s enough reason in herself to watch this movie. Minx is cute and pretty, and I’m definitely glad that I could see her (she has the best lines in the movie, too), but perhaps she still needs some practice to become a full-fledged Kandygirl.
The action in this movie will really please those who like punching and scissor scenes, as those are – especially the punching – simply spectacular. The kicking action is OK, but it’s not mind-blowing this time. (Though ONLY when compared to some other Kandyman movies!)
